Over the past 25 years, the Department of Pathology, Microbiology and Forensic Medicine had a splendid history as a center of excellence in both teaching and research. Our Department consists of three specialty sections:
1. Pathology section.
2. Microbiology section.
3. Forensic Medicine and Toxicology section.
In our department we are in a unique position in providing both basic science and clinical courses to; Medical, Dental, Pharmacy, Nursing and Rehabilitation students. There are also postgraduate training programs for Medical Residents at the Jordan University Hospital in the above three specialties that confer onto them the Certificate in Higher Specialization, and fulfill the requirements for sitting for the examination of the Jordanian Board in the respective specialty. The Department also conducts the following M. Sc. Courses for Medical and other Science graduates:
a. Medical Laboratory Sciences.
b. Analytical Toxicology.
